A close friend of mine conducted an informal online focus group on how women find balance in their lives. Here are some of my favorites responses: 1. "I give myself permission to say No. It took me years to learn that I don't have to do everything and please everyone. I was over committed and double booked and … [Read more...]
Love Never Fails – WOMEN in RECOVERY
Love is patient It is long-tempered, opposite of "short fused". Love is learning how to put up with others. It has restraint of anger, wrath, temper in all sorts of life situations . Patience is the key factor which is required in order to take a biblical course of action. Lack of patience is evidence of a lack of love. Love thinks of the other person first; lack of patience puts oneself first. Love shown to be giving of one's self, time, interests to another while giving up on … [Read more...]

With Action,You Reap ~ WOMEN in RECOVERY
TALK is CHEAP,THOUGHT is DEEP, yet with ACTION You REAP. Movement of any machine is not called as ‘karma’ because any work to be called as ‘karma’ must be done by a living being. Involuntary movements of millions of our body cells resulting in the functions such as blood circulation, food digestion, breathing etc are not called as ‘karmas’ because of the absence of ‘active I consciousness’. Only in Action do We Manifest our Nature – Women in Recovery
THE PROBLEM OF SELF At one pole of my being I am one with sticks and stones. There I have to acknowledge the rule of Universal Law. That is where the foundation of my existence lies, deep down below. Its strength lies in its being held firm in the clasp of comprehensive world, and in the fullness of its community with all things. But at the other pole of my being I am separate from all. There, I have broken through the cordon of equality and stand alone as an individual. I am absolutely … [Read more...]
