Dr. Wayne Dyer, in memory of passing on Aug 30

Wayne Dyer passed away Aug 30th. It seemed like a random day and a tragic loss for so many of us. But as we were preparing his obituary and information for the press release about his passing we were going through I Can See Clearly Now, his memoir for information to share about his life: we noticed that August 30th was in fact a very important date in Wayne’s life. August 30, 1974 was, in fact, what Wayne considered the most important day of his life. It was the day that Wayne went to the … [Read more...]

Louise Hay, FREE Video Series with Suze Orman

Do you remember the story about how Hay House came to be? When I wrote my little blue book, my original dream was to go beyond my clients and the students in my workshops and help as many people as possible to change their lives for the better. One of my friends suggested that I publish my book. But when I met with several publishers, they either considered my material too radical or they wanted to rewrite it. You know how the story ends. I decided to publish it myself exactly as it was. … [Read more...]

Keeping Jesus in Christmas!

Each year there's usually some discussion about Christmas and how the religious holiday has become too secular, too centered on shopping, and not about Jesus' birth. While most Christians might agree, it can be hard to figure out what to do about it. How, exactly, do you put Christ back into Christmas? Especially if you're already knee-deep in decorations, cookie-baking, and struggling to put up the Christmas tree. This is not a mandatory to-do list, but rather a few ideas to remind … [Read more...]

Your Calling, 10 Signs that You have Found it!

How can you tell if you have found your calling? As a doctor who was called to medicine at a young age but then wound up disillusioned by the system, questioning my calling, I’ve asked myself this question a lot. It’s been a long strange trip—first leaving medicine, then feeling called back, then leaving again only to find my role in healing our broken health care system as a writer, speaker, revolutionary, and teacher of physicians. Along the way, I’ve learned a few things about how to … [Read more...]

Be Grateful for Everything!‏

Be Grateful for Everything! We set aside November as a special time to be grateful and to be thankful for all our blessings! I'm thinking that it might be a great idea to pause for a few seconds every day to think about something for which we are grateful. Gratitude inspires kindness and connection. I am most grateful for the power of choice. Every day we make thousands of choices about our thoughts, our feelings and our actions. Each choice brings with it it's own consequences. FIRSTHAND KNOWLEDGE OR HERESY?, Shirlee Hall

We are actually inseparable from our True Nature. Many souls are trapped into believing separation has taken place and that there is some place or level we must return to in order to be liberated. Not so. All we need to do is to genuinely wake up and be aware. A simple reality and yet, we make it complicated. Yes, consciousness is momentarily appearing as phenomena but the body-mind is not a permanent covering. The ideal is to activate the higher consciousness, our true Nature, in the temporary … [Read more...]

Rebecca Khan: ‘To Ma, with Love’

To Ma, with Love     My mother is a true testament to the strength and fortitude of women who can tackle the toughest of situations when unexpectedly thrown in it. Having grown up in the lap of luxury and lucky to have led a equally charmed life post-marriage to my father, she did not have to tend to much outside domestic affairs but my, how well she took care of things in the realm of that world which included nurturing my sister and me, caring for her loving husband, creating a safe … [Read more...]
