Let Go of People Who You No Longer Need, or Want
How to Let Go of People Who You No Longer Need, or Want One of the hardest things in life is to let go of the people we love the most. We hold on to those close to us so tightly, fearing that without them we will be nothing. Fearing that without them the love we feel in our hearts will be forever lost. “Some birds are not meant to be caged, that’s all. Their feathers are too bright, their songs too sweet and wild. So you let them go, or when you open the cage to feed them they … [Read more...]

8 Ways to Become More like a Hero by Denise Linn I was on a flight into San Francisco and I surreptitiously noticed the young man sitting next to me in the middle seat. He radiated a calm centeredness. He didn’t seem to be squirming in the struggle for “personal boundaries” that so often accompanies those who are stuffed into tight middle seats. As I’m always intrigued to find out what beliefs are held by those who seem at peace, amidst the chaos of everyday life, I engaged him in … [Read more...]

If the environment in which your relationship lives is harsh and unforgiving, a place where sarcasm, degradation, and anger is present and where forgiveness, thoughtfulness, and love are in short supply, your relationship will wither and die... painfully. It will die just as a garden dies … [Read more...]

J.K. Rowling accepts apology as a ‘true philanthropist”
LONDON — Author J.K. Rowling accepted an apology and a charitable donation Wednesday from a law firm which revealed she wrote a crime novel under a pseudonym. The Harry Potter author was exposed by a newspaper on July 14 as the author of The Cuckoo’s Calling, a thriller ostensibly written by former soldier and first-time novelist Robert Galbraith. The book was published in April to good reviews but modest sales, and there was speculation that Rowling or her publisher had leaked the news to … [Read more...]
