Earlier this year, I visited the Kakuma refugee camp in Kenya, where I met a mother who fled South Sudan with her four children amid the country’s ongoing violence. Sadly, her story is not unique. More than 1 million people in South Sudan have been displaced, and while some have fled to other nations, most of them remain in the country.
