Bolivia's new law allowing child labour at 10 breaches international conventions - UNICEF The law, which came into effect earlier this month, allows 10-year-olds to work as long as they attend school, are under parental supervision and are self-employed. The death toll from last week’s building collapse in Bangladesh has now topped 400 -- it’s Bangladesh’s worst ever industrial disaster. The eight-storey building, workplace to thousands of garment factory workers, showed clear signs of cracking a full day before it collapsed.
