Lynn Stevenson
In her own words:I am a woman of many talents. I am an artist, an author, a certified power coach, a motivational speaker, a workshop facilitator and for the past 20 odd years have worked on a professional level as a psychic.
I was born in St. Andrew’s, Scotland, my parents and I came to Canada in 1958 and settled in Port Credit. Within a few years my parents bought their first house and I spent most of my years growing up in Mississauga. I am an only child, a mother of 3 and a grandmother of 4, so far.
I am on my third marriage, the first two were mentally/emotionally abusive.
We all have our lessons to learn.
It is because of these first two marriages I am passionate about empowering people and helping to boost their confidence and self esteem. My third marriage has been a true blessing. Russ has encouraged me to become who I truly am and to explore my gifts, abilities and talents. I have gone from being a mouse to a lion. I once did a workshop called “I Am Woman, Hear Me Roar”
When I speak to a crowd I always do my best when I allow my passion to flow. I love to help people, I love to help people find their passion. I do not do well with routine. Water is a balancing point for me and helps me think. Being creative is my passion.
I have learned not to say “I can’t do that” but rather to say “How do I do that? What do I have to do to get there?” I have come a very long way over the past 15 years. When I was ‘stuck’ in my second marriage a friend used to tell me that I was the artist and it was up to me to create the life I wanted. It took a fair number of years before I understood what he was talking about.
As a psychic I have hosted my own TV show, my own radio show and had my own column in a local paper. I used to have a friend down in Nashville, Marjie. When I went down to visit her, we would sit on her back deck and drink champainge ~ usually several bottles. Her husband would order Chinese Food, I think he figured that was the only way he was going to get dinner that night! lol.Anyway, I told Margie one time that I wanted my own column in a paper. When I came back home, the Universe sent me the opportunity and it happened. The following year when I was back down in Nashville, I told Marjie I wanted my own TV show. She said she knew I could do it. I came home, and I did. Same thing with the radio show. Not sure if you are into Country Music or not, but I used to spend quite a bit of time in Nashville and was a volunteer for the CMA (Country Music Association).
That is where I learned the importance of attitude and confidence.
I learned about humility from people like Willy Nelson, Liza Minnelli, Trace Adkins, Pam Tillis. I will never forget the first time I met Pam Tillis, she was so excited to meet me because I am a psychic. I just seemed very odd. I remember the first time Rhonda (now Traces wife) introduced me to Trace. She wanted to know what I thought of him, she had just started dating him. I told her to hang on to him, he was going places and they were soul mates. I was a guest at their wedding and I predicted the birth of their first child MacKenzie. I knew some of the people who worked in the offices of TNN and they wanted me on the Crook and Chase Show. Lorraine was totally against having a psychic on the show so they put me on as a Personality Profiler and I did shoe readings. You can tell a lot about a person from the wear and tear on their shoes. I have a lot of good memories and good stories to tell.
Several years ago I wrote a book on Cartomancy ~ it was channelled. I do not know how to read playing cards. Anyone I have taught from my book averages abou 95% accuracy. My Guide’s name is Hawley and he is very, very old.
About 6 years ago I was announced on CHCH TV as one of Canada’s Top 5 psychics.

Russ and I live in a small burgh called Bervie, it has 31 houses. (near Kincardine, Ont., Canada).
Our house was built in the mid to late 1870’s as the Rectory to the Anglican Church.
We have 2 acres, I love my life, my family and who I have become.
I also created Pwibles. Pwible stands for PeaceWisdomInnocenceBalanceLoveEquality. The “S” at the end when there is more than one stands for Strength because there is always strength in unity.

Each year there is a Scottish Festival in Kincardine.
Last year I recognized a need for a Scottish Cookbookto sell at the Festival. I started writting it beginning of April and it was in print by the end of June. I was then put in touch with a distributor down east, tweeked the book a bit and it is now available in almost every book store in the Maritime Provinces.

It is also available at Chapters/Indigo. So, I wrote another cookbook and self published it also. I was going to write a third one, but my guides told me to put it down, so I did.
My granddaughter loves my imagination and I make up stories for her all the time.

Kincardine’s resident psychic has made her predictions for 2011.
Lynn Stevenson, who has been working as a psychic for over 20 years, said the upcoming year will be full of change. “Many people will be forced to take a good look at themselves and what they want in life,” she noted. According to Stevenson, Kincardinites can expect a lot of personal growth and development this year. “If you’re in the wrong relationship, it will come to an end,” she said. But all those soon-to-be singles won’t be alone for long. Stevenson also predicts that if someone is meant to be in a new relationship in 2012, they will meet their partner by the end of the coming year.Stevenson said people can also anticipate big changes in their work lives: “If you remain in a job you are not meant to be in, a catalyst will be created that will force you to make the necessary changes.”With all of this personal upheaval, the psychic encourages everyone to keep a close eye on their physical and mental health. “Things are going to happen quickly,” she said. “Change can be draining, so you have to take the time to sit back and relax.”On the political front, Stevenson predicts little improvement in 2011. She said Canadian tax dollars will continue to be misused and politicians will continue to make misjudgements.
Towards the end of 2011, however, the psychic predicts that some of this political misconduct will come to light. “People are going to get fed up,” she said. “Someone is going to step up and Prime Minister Stephen Harper is going to be put on the hot seat.”
Stevenson also foresees a major Canadian disaster in 2011 that will take many people’s lives. But everyone can take comfort in another of her major predictions -the world will not come to an end in 2012.
In recent years, the New Age theory that 2012 will end in apocalyptic disaster has gained popularity. It even became the subject of a major Hollywood movie, “2012,” starring John Cusack.
This theory is based on an interpretation of the ancient Mayan calendar, which ends in December 2012. But Stevenson said she is getting readings for 2013, so we don’t have to worry about doomsday quite yet.
All in all, 2011 will be a year of preparation. “Next year is about getting people in place,” the psychic concluded. “It’s about getting people where they are supposed to be for 2012.”
