1. I consider myself an empowered person because I dare tread on areas where I feel I can contribute something despite my limitations, i.e. am already 71 years old and belonging to a nation that is considered as third developing country.

    I often feel disillusioned because of the povery I see around brought about by conflicts and lack of education and that despite the efforts of some women in government who really mean business and serious in our advocacy for peace oit still does not have much impact. because funds are limited and are directed only to already well-known non-government organizations who could hardly penetrate the areas where its resources are very much needed.

    I can see that Education whether non-formal or just the “street education cum practicum” is what is really needed. I tried but because of different thrusts with some already well-placed organizations , I personally feel that there is no follow-on or follow up.
