6th World Congress on Women’s Mental Health 22–25 March 2015
Tokyo, Japan
REGISTRATION – HERE
The International Association for Women’s Mental Health, a multidisciplinary group that has the mission of improving the mental health of women throughout the world, expanding the fund of knowledge about Women’s Mental Health and promoting gender-sensitive and autonomy-enhancing mental health services for women, cordially invites you to participate in the 6th World Congress on Women’s Mental Health to be held in Tokyo, March 22 to 25, 2015, in conjunction with the Institute of Women’s Mental Health, Tokyo Women’s Medical University.
The congress is expected to attract, as our previous meetings (Berlin 2001, Wahington DC 2004, Melbourne 2008, Madrid 2011 and Lima 2013) did, a large number of internationally renowned experts in the field, including, psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, occupational therapists, social workers, general practitioners and other women’s health professionals, researchers, students, decision makers, consumers and their families, who will share their knowledge and experiences about the best ways to improve women’s wellbeing.
Biological, psychosocial, public health and political aspects of health care will be discussed from the perspectives of researchers and clinicians from different regions of the world. This multidisciplinary and culturally diverse atmosphere should also provide an excellent chance for networking and formulating new exciting research and intervention projects for the future.
The success of a scientific meeting lies in the excellence of the attendees and the rigor of their research; but it also depends on the diversity and novelty of the questions asked after the meeting. We would like, on behalf of IAWMH, to invite you to come to Tokyo in 2015 and join us in this exciting opportunity to learn and grow together.
