The Woman Within® Training provides a safe and nurturing environment for you to explore how your life could be different and to reaffirm your wholeness as a woman. Since 1988, thousands of women from more than 20 countries have chosen to experience this powerful transformational weekend.

About Us

Woman Within International is a not-for-profit organization that offers educational opportunities for women to discover the power of who they are and encourages women to communicate this in their relationships, families, workplaces and communities.

Over 10,400 women worldwide have attended the Woman Within Training weekend and many of these women have continued their journey at other Woman Within retreats and workshops including Healing the Wounds of Shame, Your Sexual Self, Woman Within Level II and Women Empowering Women.

The Woman Within International network is an organization of women like you, all ages from 18 and beyond, and all cultural backgrounds. Women who are grandmothers, mothers, sisters, daughters, partners and friends. Women who come from many different professions and walks of life who find time in their busy lives to help heal women one woman at a time. All of these women believe in the process and trust it.

The Woman Within® Weekend Training provides a unique opportunity to look deep inside yourself, in a safe and nurturing environment.

This experiential weekend offers the opportunity to find answers to questions that you may have about yourself and the choices that you are currently making. During the weekend you will be given an opportunity to reclaim the lost or fragmented parts of yourself and to become aware of the unique gifts that you have, reconnecting yourself with the Woman Within you, and leaving you more in touch with your authentic self. to transform your life.

How will you know if this is the right time in your life to do the Woman Within® training?

At Woman Within, we trust that each woman intuitively knows what is right for her. The training provides the tools to delve deeper into your own inner wisdom and see which parts of yourself need further acknowledgement and integration, so that you can live your life to the fullest. We are there to support you — in all your potential and power, with all your shadows and challenges — to be who you want to be. The only requirement for attendance is an openness to experiencing yourself.

How can one weekend possibly change your life?

For some, it is the opportunity to be heard as they discover their voice and speak their truth. For others, it is having the space and time to experience intense emotions without judgment. Still for others, it is the rare experience of compassion and strength created by women coming together to witness, accept, empower and honor themselves.

By women, for women

The Woman Within Training was created by women, for women. It is a unique opportunity to explore your essence as a woman and your life choices. The training is not therapy. It offers a series of exercises, guided imagery and intense individual and group work so that you can see and transform what holds you back. The one-to-one staff ratio allows for personal attention and ensures that you are witnessed and supported as you reclaim your passion for life and belief in yourself.

Conscious connection

A variety of opportunities exist for those who wish to stay connected after the weekend. The five regional sponsors of the Women Within training offer Empowerment Circles, where communication skills and group dynamics are further experienced and refined in small groups. Women have also spontaneously created couples groups, mixed-gender groups, and wisdom circles (for women over 50). Community events are widely held.

Some events are jointly sponsored with The ManKind Project™, which offers a program for men called the New Warrior® Training Adventure.
