Sandy Hook Tragedy
What a horrible tragedy that happened that day.
Everyone is crying for all those innocent kids and adults who passed away. Now there are 26 angels in heaven looking down at us through this hard time. All our best wishes go out to Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, CT.Reflection
Life goes on, but we still grieve.
No one will forget about this for a long time. I don’t know who would do this or who died, but the people who
Did die were innocent. Those who died, who didn’t come home, their families didn’t know they were already in Heaven.Sandy Hook
Sandy Hook. No, I am not talking about the city in New Jersey. I am talking about the elementary school in Newtown. The elementary school whose students fell victim to a shooting. The event stunned the world. How could a person have harmed innocent children and their teachers? But we can help Sandy Hook. We can give support to the families and relatives who lost their loved ones. It is just not civilized to kill young children. I hope you can support Sandy Hook and show people are just not like that.” Hope is hope
Love is love
Sandy Hook’s kids were
Angels from above
There were tears
There were screams
Nightmares, sadness, shattered dreams that morning
Worse than Columbine
It made the news
It was worldwide
Though hope showed us the sky is clear
Hope and love
Both things live here “Sandy Hook
Dear Children:
You have been through so much and I do believe that this is tragic.
I cannot imagine the fear and terror going through your minds at that moment. There is state of sheer confusion that has swept over all of the United States. Why would someone do this?
This whole thing has filled us with sorrow and fright and to all the young boys and girls who lost their lives in this tragic event, you will never be forgotten. Your memory shall live in our hearts as long as there is disaster. To be so young and so innocent, you are our guardian angels. We love you. Remember 12.14.12Sandy Hook
How sorry I am for all that happened. I lost someone very special in my life and I know what it feels like. Every family who lost a son, a brother, or someone special in their lives knows what it feels like. I’m sorry for the families of teachers who died in Sandy Hook.
I’m sorry with all my heart for the loss of 26 souls of God. I’m sorry for the parents who had just bought Christmas presents for their children. I’m sorry for the teachers who gave their lives to save the children. Those teachers are heroes.West Rocks Middle School Students Speak Out
– about the Newtown tragedyGinger Katz, Founder of The Courage to Speak Foundation always emphasizes during her presentations on the importance for students to express their feelings and not to hold anything in. She also promotes students having 3-5 adults in their lives they can share their feelings with. Newtown is only a mere 45 minutes away from Norwalk where the West Rocks Middle School students reside, the tragedy hitting too close for comfort. Many students all over the country are greatly affected by what happened Friday, December 14th at Sandy Hook Elementary School.
School is supposed to be the once place children should always feel safe, and now that has been horribly taken away from them. The Principal of West Rocks, Dr. Lynne Moore in Norwalk and Ginger thought it would be a good idea to share with you the student reflections regarding this heartbreaking incident as well as honoring the lives lost.
