A Celebration of Women shares this woman’s story. Upon an awakening, she realized that Taking Action truly meant putting herself first; and in saying that, we mean putting her Spiritual Life first. To achieve one’s own Inner Peace, following the Life Path that is designed specifically for your own growth can be a challenge, at times.

By Taking Action, you will never find yourself forcing your way onto another; a habit that will always only lead to UN-TRUTH, and slow down your own growth. With today being the first day of the rest of your life, we only thought this story suitable for the Women of our World, in Recovery.

In her own words, this is Dawn’s experience in Awakening…

‘I broke off an engagement with a man I was very in love with. It was a tough decision and there are many things that caused it in the scheme of things, but what I realized deep down was that sometimes to “love” is just not enough. I read a quote and it resonated deeply. I realized as much as I loved him, we weren’t looking in the same direction spiritually.

Since the breakup, I have been on a self discovery, spiritual quest and it’s like a flood of expansion has happened in only 6 months. Each day is a new realization of my life’s purpose and peace. I feel like a completely different person and know the decision I made was more profound than I realized. It was a tough decision, but I know being in love was just not enough.

When I meet couples on the same spiritual path and so in love, it’s so inspiring for me to see that. That’s what I want. It’s so awesome.

Although I feel I am still in a healing and growth stage, when I’m ready to manifest my soul mate, spirituality will be at the top of the list. To find a soul mate that not only are you so in love with, but has a thrist for enlightment and self discovery similar to yours, and not only matches your spiritual drive, but inspires you even more on your path… that would be the ultimate for me.
