WOMEN in RECOVERY – A Time of Celebration

This time of light is a time of rejuvenation, of recharging your batteries. Take time to celebrate and rejoice in the uplifting of spirits.

Lighten up.

Acknowledge your diligence and give yourself credit and appreciation for all that you have accomplished.

Stop and smell the roses.

Stop to appreciate the beauty and majesty that is present in your lives.

Focus on what you are creating, not what is crumbling. Remember: neutral compassion, this is especially important for what is in your personal experience. All the angels join with you in ‘celebrations of light’ at this time, it is by this light that you are united, and by this light that you have created all that is on its way to you. What a glorious time to rejoice in all that is good and all that is true.

Witness and bless.

Don’t give up – for while it appears that you are on a solitary path, you are supported by reams of fellow beings of light on all around you.

If you do nothing else at this time of celebration, remember the unseen party that is going on everywhere!

SYNOPSIS OF THE SHOW

A Musical Play in One Act with Book for Musical by A. Michael Storm, Lyrics by A. Michael Storm and Music by Andys Original Songs!

SHELDON MARS, the now reclusive (though formerly VERY famous) Composer/Lyricist/Playwright, finds his world of quiet desperation and solitude interrupted when AUDRIAN SMALL comes to visit and interview him! She is a bright young woman who loves Musical Theatre and writes an online Blog for the Theatre community. She wants to be the first to interview the great man in the years since his lover/companion died. LOUIS, the spirit of SHELDON’S deceased life partner is the third character in this three character show. This often bitter, always pointed spirit takes SHELDON to task (unseen and unheard except by the audience) throughout our story!

The interview becomes contentious at times and often is rife with laughter and tears. As AUDRIAN talks with one of her Theatre idols, she draws out ghosts from his past and, in doing so, from her own! Both come to grips with who they were, are, and must become under the watchful eye of LOUIS.

There are eleven (11) musical numbers in this Musical Play. SHELDON is featured in THE SOUND, HOLLOW, WORDS AND MUSIC, and the tragic I SHOULD HAVE WRITTEN YOU A LOVE SONG; AUDRIAN gives voice to TILL I FALL TO PIECES and BITTERSWEET LULLABY and LOUIS gives us ONLY GOD KNOWS and the heartbreaking and show stopping INVISIBLE MAN; SHELDON and AUDRIAN combine for the duo number 3A.M. / FAKING IT; and all three characters combine for the trio number AMAZING/ WE HEAR MUSIC/ A MOMENT AT A TIME and in the Finale UNSEEN ANGELS, LOUIS and AUDRIAN provide the vocals with SHELDON on the piano!

A. Michael Storm’s Book brings both gales of laughter and rivers of tears as it tells the story of how life can twist and turn and how we often find ourselves reflecting later in life on just how we came to be what and where we are!

Though the songs from this show may be smaller in number than those in a large Musical, the impact of each number is as great as any song from any show. A. Michael Storm’s Lyrics and AndysOriginalSongs beautiful Music tell the story every bit as fully as the Book!

UNSEEN ANGELS

Into every life comes
unseen angels

Whispers in the dark from
unseen angels

Gentle guiding hands
unseen angels

They may offer hope
unseen angels

In the best of us there’s
unseen angels
we can feel it in the air

And it’s left to us to trust
unseen angels
and accept them if we dare

Each and every day come
unseen angels

Strangers may appear as
unseen angels

When we can’t go on
unseen angels

When we need it most
Unseen angels

And if we ignore these
unseen angels
can we find someone to care

Into every life comes
unseen angels
unseen but still they’re there

But hope can quickly fly
and even angels cry

When we look fate in the eye
no matter how we try

The fondest dreams may die
as unseen angels cry

Yes into every life comes
unseen angels

And when we need them most
unseen angels

Each and every day comes
unseen angels

Whispers in the dark from
unseen angels.
