Less that two days after hundreds of thousands of people responded to our call for a worldwide prayer vigil to end the violence in Egypt, President Mukarak stepped down and now celebrations fill the streets. It is but another example of the power of positive mass-prayer to shift world events.

Most of you know that I have dedicated much of my life to this movement, and have initiated many worldwide prayer vigils that have shifted the consciousness of millions and created miracles. The first occurred in Iraq in 1998 when I was invited by Saddam Hussein to perform The Peace Concert in Baghdad at the same time a major crisis loomed. It was the first time the call went out to join together in Praying Peace, and millions of people participated. Though there didn’t seem to be any hope of a peaceful solution, two days later a peace accord was signed. Other miracles have followed during subsequent vigils, demonstrating the fact that prayer is not only powerful, but the most powerful force in the Universe.
I believe it is time for us to remember this power,
and reignite a world movement to inspire peace!
