WOMEN in RECOVERY – Capitulation

Good Day, we thought that word might grab Your Attention …!

Capitulation (Lat. capitulum, a little head or division; capitulare, to treat upon terms), an agreement in time of war for the surrender to a hostile armed force of a particular body of troops, a town or a territory.

It is an ordinary incident of war, and therefore no previous instructions from the captors’ government are required before finally settling the conditions of capitulation. The most usual of such conditions are freedom of religion and security of private property on the one hand, and a promise not to bear arms within a certain period on the other.

Such agreements may be rashly concluded with an inferior officer, on whose authority the enemy are not in the actual position of the war entitled to place reliance. When an agreement is made by an officer who has not the proper authority or who has exceeded the limits of his authority, it is termed a “sponsion”, and, to be binding, must be confirmed by express or tacit ratification.

The Hague Convention (1899) on the laws and the customs of war lays down that capitulations agreed on between the contracting parties must be in accordance with the rules of military honor. When once settled they must be observed by both the parties.[1]

In short, to end all resistance; to give up; to go along with or comply;

may imply compliance with an enemy or to end all resistance because of loss of hope.

‘She argued and hollered for so long that I finally capitulated just to make her stop.’

On the road to recovery, everyone must reach this point…

Spiritually, the only way to Rise Above a Condition is to completely surrender to it….whether a betrayal, an addiction, an illness.

The most difficult action any human being can take, is that of a complete surrender. The greatest misnomer of this act, is that it represents weakness; and we are here to share with you that the opposite is true. An act of complete surrender, believing in the unseen, takes the more courage than any action in this lifetime that you will take.

Please enjoy this sharing of Chris, who only after complete surrender, was able to transcribe messages that had been offered years before; yet, unheard due to the lack of capitulation to spirit.

“…My name is Chris, and I have not always been able to translate messages from “beyond,” in fact it is only recently that I decided to write down what I have been “hearing” in my mind from these previously unknown spirits. The function of writing has greatly clarified and identified these manifestations of spirit teaching, whereby before it was only unorganized thought patterns and feelings, but none the less, I knew in my heart that they were real and outside of my own thought emanations.

This ability to “hear” came only after what is known as a spiritual awakening–a second awakening in fact, which followed a “Born-again Christian experience some twenty years prior, only this time the awakening followed a sincere desire for truth that transcends the human institutions of religious dogma and a realization of the true meaning of the brotherhood of man, and the fatherhood of God. “
