SUPPORTED CHARITY The Assaulted Women’s Helpline began serving women in the Greater Toronto area in 1985. With increased demand in April 2002, we expanded across Ontario. We provide crisis counselling, emotional support, safety planning, information, and referrals to approximately 48,000 callers annually.
