World AIDS Day observance on December 1

This year’s World AIDS Day observance on December 1 is the 25th commemoration of the opportunity to bring attention to the impact of the HIV epidemic. Rapid HIV Testing, Increase Life Expectancy, Cost Effective

Incorporating Rapid HIV Testing in drug treatment programs is both cost effective and increases life expectancy for an HIV-positive person, according to an NIH-funded study published in September 2012 in the journal of Drug and Alcohol Dependence.
