All About Thredbo

Thredbo is a ski resort and village in New South Wales that was created as a skiing destination. Modeled after European skiing towns, Thredbo is full of lodges, great dining, nightlife, and shopping. The famous ski resort is open every day all year round, and it’s in one of the most picturesque spots in Kosciuszko National Park.

In winter, people flock to Thredbo from around the world for skiing and other winter activities. It’s truly a winter wonderland. However, don’t make the mistake of thinking Thredbo loses it’s appeal when the weather warms up. On the contrary, Thredbo transforms into a family adventure spot home to some of the best fun and sights in the region.

Even better, it’s easy to get to Thredbo from anywhere in the country (or the world!). Located only 2 and a half hours from Canberra, you can’t miss seeing Thredbo for yourself.
