Women in Film and Television Vancouver’s national English language contest, From Our Dark Side, is seeking Canadian women writers and their best genre film ideas!
Submit your 3-5 page genre film outline by January 6, 2017 and you could be selected to join the 2017 incubator program designed to help you get your idea for a feature length project to the next stage.
Winners will also attend workshops at the Vancouver International Women in Film Festival AND receive a transportation subsidy to the Frontières Genre Co-Production Market in Montreal where they will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with industry leaders and/or pitch their concepts.
Please note the contest is open to women writers and English language submissions only.
