The YIN MIND
__________________________________________________________
When wisdom lacks so much
that all there is to do
is heap a naggin’ touch
on trouble when it comes . . . . . . well,
a hungry man knows well
the ache from lack o’ food.
You’ve not been his saviour
to tell him ’bout starvation
his destiny
not eatin’ soon.
Pronouncements, proclamations:
how many hungry
how many dead!
Too many sayin’, “Please help”
too few helpin’
Well . . . I’m sayin’ . . . that’s my part.
I’ll tell the world . . .
Yeh,
keep tellin’
while I die.
When those in service to mankind
too much assume their role
to be the task of mourning
the woes of all he serves,
when the workers are too many
at making law and rule,
when the workers are too few
who move, who make the new,
comes revolution !
