Elsa P: August 23, 2012 – Mars in Scorpio, Sun Opposite Neptune & a Grand Trine in Air‏

Mars joins the Moon in Scorpio on Thursday. Both bodies are supported by planets in Cancer and Pisces and I think the shift will bring relief to many.

This is because Mars was stuck in Virgo for eight months before transiting Libra, the sign of its detriment. Mars is at home in Scorpio, so high functioning. We all want to move ahead and we should have an easier time doing so with Mars in Scorpio which can be effective rather than having to weigh everything incessantly (Libra) which makes it hard to act.

Friday is interesting. The Sun in Virgo opposes Neptune which tends to see people bicker over who the victim is. However, the Moon in Sagittarius is an excellent judge of character, and she’s supported by Uranus in Aries which is likely to supply the truth in an a flash. This gives us a mixture of confusion and clarity and the cool thing is, you’re likely to know which is which.

Saturday is a repeat of Friday, but the Moon will oppose Jupiter in Gemini and some will pontificate. I don’t mind this myself as there is always something you can learn, even if the person preaching is not that knowledgeable.

Sunday, the Moon hits Capricorn and conjuncts Pluto. This will bring up security fears but frankly, it’s a mild situation as compared to what we went through in July and the earlier part of August.

Monday, the Moon in Capricorn opposes Venus. It eventually squares Saturn and then Mars into Tuesday. You’re likely to feel dissatisfied with something or someone but it’s not worth investing in because the problem is fleeting rather than something that will be sustained.

We end the week on a great note Wednesday as the Moon in Aquarius trines Jupiter in Gemini and exalted Saturn in Libra. Most will feel grounded and generous.

It’s a nice combination!
