TAKING UP SPACE

How often do you stop to observe the sky, the sea, the mountains, the trees or a budding flower?

 

When you glance at a newborn whether a human or animal, what do you feel? When you consciously pay attention to the environment, whether you are standing at a train station, in the woods or your own home, what do you think about? Do you ever ponder the brevity of life? What do I mean by this? I frequently pause and look at the environment.

My energy is here taking up space. In 50 years where will the energy I refer to as myself be? Let me put it another way. Have you ever speculated about the age of the trees and how long they have been observing what is moving around them? Do you ever project to another day when an entirely different generation will be walking on this great earth stage perhaps passing by the same trees that you enjoy today? You no longer exist in physical form.

The typical person is so busy doing things that are not essential to the soul’s purpose. Are you, family and friends making a serious effort to live in the moment as a conscious being? Do you have any real idea what a conscious being actually is? What people are commonly doing is taking up space and are for the most part involved with trivial and impermanent things. Isn’t it time to wonder about your place in the Universe, your place on earth and your place in consciousness? Is there a Great Plan? If so, how does your story fit into the plan?

I enjoy thinking about this exercise. One day, there will be an entirely new cast of characters on earth still playing war games, being self-absorbed and striving to accumulate more material wealth and not having a clue as to why they are in a physical body. This is real poverty and has been the scenario for thousands of years.

The ongoing pathetic drama will not change until we collectively stop and ask ourselves what are we really contributing to consciousness. How many of us honestly examine ourselves, choosing to make a difference on planet earth so the difference reflects goodness and harmony? The heroes and heroines are those who choose to take responsibility for their own awakening and respond to the needs of the collective humanity. We are one in essence. This means that behind the facade is a living spirit of light energy. It is a sublime energy that is our true nature. We are to reach a pivotal point where we naturally join together for the good of all.

On a human level, too many people are far removed from the openness required to fully merge into the Light of the Higher Nature.. I urge you to take time to observe yourself, expand your mind, listen to your heart and learn to pay attention to your own energy and the energy around you. Develop love not only for the whole package referred to as your identity but expand that feeling to include compassion and love for the souls who continue to choose the darkness of moral and spiritual ignorance. When we choose to take quality time and use it wisely, we benefit life on every level. We must be who we really are. No more masquerades. No more shirking the reason we are on earth. Together let us unite and widen our circle of compassionate, intelligent and loving beings who are genuine, respectful and honor all life regardless of form.

 

Smooth your brow and lighten your heart.

Worry less and simply accept.

Life as you know it…is not.

What Life is…you have yet to discover.

Living is connecting to the All-Knowing Mind.
