What is it that makes visceral recognition possible?

What is it that makes structuralism

(knowing without learning),

                   the concept of Claude Levi Strauss, possible?

 

It is resonant, harmonic, interdependent interaction:

when oscillation, vibration,

at a subconscious level,

reveals, discloses or betrays

a nature, a condition, an intent,

a character or a bearing.

Animals have it.

Animals act upon it.

Dogs growl, or attack,

or wag their tails and affectionately lick,

when they sense it.

Women feel it.

It is called intuition.

Men feel it.

It is called a hunch.

As Roger Wescott, of Drew University,

finds we have,

in all human species,

about 20 senses, not just five.

Professor Wescott describes this in his book:
The Divine Animal.

Now, we have an era,

the onset of major change,

strengthening every day.

When will you feel it?

Logic and reasoning sees the economic downtown.

Increases in violent weather

the increase in the rate of earthquakes and volcanic eruptions

requires denial, rejection, suppression,

in order to insist this means nothing.

The rapid extinction of species,

the loss of habitat,

the kind of event that showed itself

65 million years ago

when mammoths were found

frozen, with grass and flowers

in their mouths

and dinosaurs were extinct

is ignored and is rejected as significant.

Our sun, our local star,

has increased in its magnetic intensity

by 230%, since 1901.

The curve of increase isn’t linear!

In 2011, the precession of the equinoxes

moves from the constellation of Pisces to Aquarius.

Our magnetic pole strength

is weakening and drifting.

Pole reversals are known

from the magnetic orientation

of the magma at oceanic ridges.

In 2012, our sun (from the mini-galaxy of Sagittarius)

will align with the plane of the Milky Way.

The alignment of Saturn and Jupiter,

with our Sun

will shift the Barycenter [1]

(the center of mass of our solar system).

This coincides with the Mayan Calendar date:

December 21^st, 2012.

We feel it.

We know it.

We want a continuation

of life as it has been.

We want an indefinite delay in consequences

so that we can regard

the delay in consequences as meaning

there are no consequences.

But there is a justice of the large scheme.

We are meant to evolve.

We are faced with this need

to respond to and to deploy

sincerity, genuineness and integrity.

The added energy in our environment

needs to find a place

to manifest, to express, to be assimilated.

We can no longer

go on with superficial embellishment

of fundamental functions

and regard that as creative.

To sustain the highly centralized pattern of production,

processing and urban sprawl,

with its dependence upon extensive transport

and transport infrastructure

is no longer sane.

We need to reconfigure

our society, our culture,

to a larger number of smaller centres,

much as Solari [2] has suggested.

I appeal to your sense of relatedness and connectedness

to your intuition, to your visceral knowing,

change as much as you can

as fast as you can

in the right direction – or face a violent future.
