Questions about the 13 Grandmothers Virtual Gathering?

We’re excited and deeply honored to be hosting the 13 Indigenous Grandmothers for a 3-Day Virtual Gathering and Prayer Circle – which starts tomorrow! Please visit our course page for more details and to register! Each time we’ve featured these incredibly wise planetary elders, the response from you has been huge. We see this as a great reflection of the transformative times we’re in and the message of hope and healing they’re here to bring. To ensure that the remarkable energy the Grandmothers generate spreads as widely as possible, we want every person who feels called to this virtual gathering to be able to attend. In service to this, we’ve compiled answers to the most commonly asked questions below: Q: I’m intrigued by The Wisdom of the Grandmothers 3-Day Virtual Gathering, but I’m not really sure what it’s all about or if it’s for me. This gathering is a unique and rare opportunity to sit in circle with members of the 13 Indigenous Grandmothers. These are elders who have come together from all four corners of the earth to share their message and wisdom for these times of great change. Until this year, the only way to be with the Grandmothers was by traveling to their council meetings, which take place in rotating countries once or twice a year. The Grandmothers are now being called to share their work more widely through the virtual format we offer, and will be teaching on forgiveness, healing, ancient practices, manifesting our visions and many other topics. If you have a deep desire to transform our world, are looking to commune with others in a global circle for healing, peace and inspiration, or recognize the tremendous value that ancient indigenous wisdom and practices can bring to our planet, this gathering is for you. Q: I’m not available for one or more of the sessions with the Grandmothers. Will I still get the same benefit if I listen to the recordings and read the transcripts? The Grandmothers will be in dialogue and prayer throughout the calls–sharing wisdom that easily translates in recordings and transcripts. Hundreds of people have taken part in their previous sessions through this virtual format and have reported experiencing profound healing, learning and joy. The teachings of this powerful group are divinely guided and powerful that we really hope you won’t let your previous commitments stand in the way of receiving the same benefits from the recordings and transcripts. (In fact, surprisingly to us, in our surveys, we’ve found that a large percentage of you prefer the convenience of time and place that the transcripts and recordings afford!) Q: How exactly will the 3-Day Virtual Gathering and Prayer Circle with the Grandmothers going to work? Each day at 5:00pm Pacific Time, the featured Grandmothers will convene for 90 minutes with the group of participants. All you’ll need is a phone line or Internet access if you want to join via webcast. The Grandmothers will share their teachings, stories and prayers on the evening’s topic as well as offer practices to help you ground the wisdom into your daily life. Towards the end of each session, we’ll have time for Q&A, so that you can engage with the Grandmothers directly. In addition, you’ll have the opportunity (if calling in by phone) to connect with other course participants in a small break-out discussion group, giving you the opportunity for further reflect and deepen your experience with the material. Q: I prefer live gatherings and I’m not sure what the experience will be like virtually. What level of intimacy and connection can I expect to experience? The Grandmothers hold a very intentional energy for these calls, and through their prayers and meditations, create a truly intimate, sacred circle. Within this container, you’ll also have the opportunity to connect with other participants from around the world in a small discussion group, as well as engage with the Grandmothers live during the Q&A portion of the call. It will not feel as if you are attending a regular telecourse through your phone, but rather stepping into a sacred global circle of like-minded sisters, brothers and wise elders. Though traveling to special events is a wonderful experience, this virtual format is a way to contribute to building deep community that also saves money, travel-time, and has a much lighter ecological footprint. Q: What can I expect to experience as a result of signing up for this Virtual Gathering? There are many benefits available by connecting with the Grandmothers and the community that is being generated around them. A few of these include: support for accessing greater guidance in your dreams and visions; the ability to expand your capacity for forgiveness and compassion; a deep connection with a global family of people committed to a more humane and sustainable way of living; renewed hope for our future and a greater understanding of the unique role you’re here to play. Because the Grandmothers teach as conscious conduits of the divine, there’s truly no telling what great wisdom and insights may emerge during this gathering. Q: How will this gathering benefit the 13 Grandmothers and the work they’re doing in the world? The International Council of 13 Indigenous Grandmothers is the fulfillment of many prophecies that now have them aligning their ancient wisdom together for the unity of our world. In this work, they travel each year to the home of one of their members, where sacred rituals, council sessions, prayers and meetings take place, all in service to this greater healing mission.
