“Hi, Catherine,
I am glad that you found my video very inspirational. You are more than welcome to use it and hope that it would touch the lives of people who have Seniors in their family or who care for one. I do not want to take credit for it. I happen to see variations of these videos and decided to make one myself using pictures from those that I found on the internet. My inspiration were my parents and elders (aunts and uncles). I am single and care for my parents. They live with me. Both are in their late 70s and have failing health conditions. I have live in US (from the Philippines) since 1987 and found that americans put their elders to Senior Home Care when they get old. I found that to be depressing! 🙁
The message in the video I created speaks for itself. I think we owe it to our parents to give them the best we can when they get old the same way they cared for us when we were young. Elders only have a short time to live and what a better way to cherish the remainding time they have with us by caring for them and giving them the respect they deserve and enjoying their company.
