mHealth Summit starts today
By Michelle Samplin-Salgado, AIDS.gov New Media Strategist and Jeremy Vanderlan, AIDS.gov Web Developer
The 2010 mHealth Summit started today and AIDS.gov is looking forward to exploring ways mobile technology can improve domestic HIV programs serving minority and other communities most at-risk for, or living with, HIV.
In addition to hearing about the future of mobile from keynote speakers, Bill Gates, Aneesh Chopra, Judith Rodin, and Ted Turner, we’re looking forward to our colleagues’ presentations, Susannah Fox from the Pew Internet and American Life Project who will be on the panel “Adolesents, Mobile Technology, and Culture” and Deb Levine, Executive Director of ISIS, who will present on the panel “Let’s Talk About Sex“.
AIDS.gov will be demonstrating a prototype of the mobile HIV/AIDS Service Locator at a poster presentation (poster #46). We’ll also be following up with a blog post about highlights and encourage you to follow the hashtag #mHS10 to catch the latest information from the summit.
