Recent Major Activities
- The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) informed State officials that their State chief executive officers must submit a request for the increased Medicaid FMAP funds extended by the Education, Jobs and Medicaid Assistance Act. The request must be made within 45 days of enactment, or by Sept. 24. (Aug. 18)
- CMS issued guidance to State Medicaid directors regarding implementation of rules for incentive payments to eligible professionals and eligible hospitals to promote the adoption and meaningful use of certified electronic health record technology and for State administrative expenses related to the program. (Aug. 17)
