Every season in October, the CFL run a PINK campaign in support of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. This year the Toronto Argonauts are holding our campaign on October 24, 2013 vs. the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, kickoff is at 7:30 at Rogers Centre.

I have teamed up for a 2nd year in a row with A Celebration of Women™ and we will be hosting our 2nd annual Celebration of Cancer Survivors VIP Speaker Event in an effort to raise funds for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation and A Celebration of Women™’s education center named: Celebration House™. I am a survivor myself, so this is dear to my heart. I want bring awareness and help out any way I can.

A Celebration of Women™ Foundation in partnership with the TORONTO ARGONAUTS is holding a Fund Raising Event on PINK DAY 2013. If you cannot attend please feel free to donate to the cause of cancer research. A Celebration of Women™ Foundation and the TORONTO ARGONAUTS have joined forces to pay tribute to our Women of Action™ Cancer Survivors and those who have put their hearts and efforts into finding a cure for this disease.

With a special thank you to Jully Black for contributing her song, “I Travelled,” to our cause, which describes the journey of these women and men who not only have survived, but have went on in their lives to pay it forward to others who have been stricken with cancer.
