3 Ideal Jobs for Your On-the-Go Lifestyle

For as long as you can remember, you have loved traveling. Recently, you achieved one of your major bucket list goals when you purchased an RV. Now, you cannot wait
to downsize your belongings, pack up your trusty new ride and get on the road, going wherever the highways and byways inspire you.

Of course, you will have to eat while you are traveling the country, and pay for gas, and new tires and a variety of other expenses. While you will have to say good-bye to your current job, you definitely need to find other types of work that you can do from any location, and at any time of the day.

Fortunately, there are a number of jobs that allow you to live an on-the-go lifestyle. Depending on the situation and your financial needs, you could take on one of these positions or give all of them a try:

Direct Sales

If you have a mobile device and an internet connection, you can make money through a direct sales position whether you are in Portland, Oregon, Portland, Maine or anywhere in between. For instance, you could sign up to work for a company like Amway, which has given people like you the

chance to make money, no matter where you are in the world. For those wondering “How does Amway work?” and “How can I make money through the company?” visit Amway’s YouTube page. There you’ll find product descriptions and information about how to become an Independent Business Owner, set your own hours and work from any location.

Website or Graphic Designer

The internet has made it possible for people with a good case of wanderlust to make a living from remote locations. For example, you could become a website or graphic designer and work either with a specific company or on a contract basis for a number of clients. If this is similar to the type of work you did prior to going on the road in your RV it would definitely be something you can continue to pursue; if not, you will have to look into training to learn how to do this type of work. Since most companies need a website in this day and age, there should be no shortage of opportunities; you could also speak with the owners of RV campgrounds as you travel about their website needs, advertising your skills and maybe picking up additional clients along the way.

Virtual Administrative Assistant

If you are really adept with using programs like Microsoft Office and pride yourself on your amazing organizational skills, then being a virtual administrative assistant may be the perfect flexible job for you. Online administrative assistants perform a variety of clerical tasks for any number of clients; this can include handling their emails and doing data entry to handling travel arrangements, making phone calls and other jobs. Like the other suggestions, this type of job does require a steady internet connection and the ability to reach your clients by phone from time to time. Most of this work can be done at flexible times during the day and night and from virtually any location.

Enjoy Your New Lifestyle on the Road

You are definitely excited about “going tiny,” moving into your RV and seeing as much of the US of A as you can. Fortunately, you won’t have to use up your life savings to fuel (literally!) your new lifestyle. By giving one or all of these jobs a try, and/or any others that can be done from the road, you will have a great time while still having enough money to pay for your adventures.
