Highlighting Global Issues and UN Priorities at Davos
Last month, the UN Foundation helped put your voice front and center at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. The discussions highlighted issues that UN supporters like you care about: climate change, the empowerment of girls, youth leadership, and more.
UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and UN Foundation President and CEO Kathy Calvin joined Millennium Development Goal Advocates at a special convening in Davos to discuss the importance of investing in adolescent girls to accelerate global progress.
Additionally, in the lead-up to Davos, the +SocialGood community launched “You+Davos+Social Good,” a global conversation that allowed everyone to share their ideas about how to solve the world’s most important issues. UN Foundation leaders and +SocialGood members took what they heard with them to Davos, helping inform the dialogue.
