For the 16 Days of Activism Campaign, I am taking action with my friends at Say NO – UNiTE to end violence against women and girls.
I wear orange because I want women in violent relationships to know that there’s a way out.
It can happen to anyone! I was in a relationship that was violent. It took me years to speak about it. I got out, because I have a great support system in my family. A lot of people don’t have this kind of support, and I want to let them know that they are not alone. The first step is to speak out, and speak up.
