Welcome to The Single Mom Show!

I am a single mom and I am proud!!!

As a single mom for over 11 years, and the Executive Director & Founder of INCITE A Single Moms Support Group, I have personally experienced, heard and shared many triumphs and heart breaks with single moms in my community.

Through exploration, research, education; sharing and listening; giving and taking; and tears and laughter, I have learned more and more about the world of single moms, including both their struggles and challenges. Like most single moms, I sense that only a single mom can truly understand what it takes to be a single mom, what day-to-day life is really like and what the diverse and endless challenges and struggles can be. From child support issues, parenting challenges, legal problems and financial difficulties to career challenges, self-esteem issues, dating confusion, anxiety and stress, from lack of balance and completely losing yourself to trying to find yourself and keep your head above water, from dealing with complete exhaustion to a general lack of understanding in the community…single moms have tremendous challenges; with not enough support, compassion or encouragement.

That is why I launched INCITE A Single Moms Support Group, to provide support, encouragement, guidance, direction and opportunities for empowerment to single moms and their children in our community. I am now thrilled to be launching The Single Moms Show, an opportunity to provide single moms everywhere with inspiration and empowerment; a chance to celebrate our lives, our stories, our challenges and our triumphs and a chance to get the help “out there” to single moms that need it.

The Single Moms Show provides education, tips, tools and guidance from professionals, offering advice and direction specifically for single moms. We share stories from other single moms; single moms expressing their struggles, their ideas, their feelings, their successes and their opinions.

Many single moms feel alone and many are isolated. This show provides an opportunity for single moms everywhere to get some guidance and direction,that is both accessible and affordable. As a single mom, you will be able to share in other single mom stories; stories that are honest, raw and real, stories that will resonate with you, touch your hearts and inspire you. This show will not only unite single moms and advocate on their behalf but work on changing the stigma attached to being a single mom. This show will provide guidance, direction, education and answers. This show will celebrate the accomplishments of single moms and share testimonials of these amazing, powerful, wonderful warriors; the silent heroes in our community.
