You are cordially invited to the opening of the Italian Contemporary Film Festival in Toronto on Wednesday June 26, 2013 — a “Reel Italian Experience!”
The festival will kick off with Italian box office smash hit “Benvenuto Presidente” (Welcome Mr. President), a charming political comedy directed by Riccardo Milani. The opening night film stars Claudio Bisio (co-star of Oscar winner Mediterraneo), as a modest, good-hearted librarian mistakenly elected President of Italy.
Following the screening of “Benvenuto Presidente” at 7:00pm at the Bell Lightbox, the party will begin at 9:00pm at the luxurious Ritz-Carlton Hotel. The scrumptious cocktail dinner will be a veritable movable feast and will include a wide assortment of antipasti, freshly made pasta, risotto, slow roasted baron of beef, an infinite variety of delectable Italian desserts and an open bar.
