In collaboration with our partners, Girl Up will host the 2nd annual Girl Up Leadership Summit in the nation’s capital, Washington, DC. Between June 10 and 12, the Leadership Summit will convene 150 youth supporters from across the United States to dive deeper into the Girl Up campaign through three days of powerful speakers, skills-based workshops and advocacy on Capitol Hill.
2013 GIRL UP LEADERSHIP SUMMIT REGISTRATION
Please fill out the information below to register for the 2013 Girl Up Leadership Summit in Washington, DC. The three days will be filled with expert speakers, trainings, mentoring sessions and meetings on Capitol Hill—bringing Girl Up leaders together with the best and brightest minds. The cost to attend this event is $99.After you register, we will follow up with you to share information on a room block with a discounted rate for the 2013 Girl Up Leadership Summit. Prior to June 10, you will also receive an email with information about the program, attire and other frequently asked questions. We encourage you to check back at GirlUp.org/summit for updates on the program and speakers.
Limited need-based financial assistance is available. Qualifying applicants are eligible for financial aid to cover hotel and travel-related expenses. Visas or other travel documents will not be covered. To be considered, indicate your interest below and fill out an application by May 12. At this time, only those who have paid the $99 fee and declined financial aid will have secured a place at the summit. All other placements will be determined following evaluation of financial aid applications.
