Mother-Ship — a young boy’s first 7 years were his mother’s last.

Striving to keep alive his relation-ship with his mother,his vivid imagination ‘remembers’ a time when they were attached, umbilically.

He, in his ‘capsule’, and like an astronaut.

He names it—‘my lovely Mother-ship’.

He knows nothing of the PML*, a rare disease not diagnosed by her doctors in time, due to a  misdiagnosis. Nor of the HIV+ status passed to her by his unknown father, that well-known malady which triggered this ‘PML‘, due to her inability to afford both food for her children and her vital medications.

A first in the’cinematic genre’, this docudrama will endeavor to bring this little-known sometime partner of HIV+ to light, as it is already lurking within as many as 85% of those who have ever had the seemingly more innocent chicken pox or shingles.

The surviving grandfather, now legal guardian to Alex and his three sisters, has been solely pursuing this mission.

A mission recently recognized by the Mayor of Orlando and with your moral (& beyond) support, a Mission that may be launched…..toward the planetary conquest of PML.

This mission, our joint mission, features the brilliant direction of Fabian Morales-Botero, the music of internationally acclaimed artist Shawn Phillips, the writing of Kennedy Center alumnus J.B. Pravda, Reginald T. Hewitt and humane persons in Central Florida and beyond, with locations such as The Kennedy Space Center.

In November 2012, we were fortunate enough to receive not one, but two history making Proclamations for PML Global Awareness.

These two very important documents now provides us one of the biggest opportunities afforded to us, thus far!

The honorable mayor, Buddy Dyer – City of Orlando, Florida and Orange County, Mayor Teresa Jacobs both have presented, “The Courtney Project 501c3, PML Global Awareness Organization,” and it’s Founder- Reginald Todd Hewitt these two very well deserved honors for his dedication to increase this much needed awareness of this horrific disease!

On November 15, 2012, we launched our Inaugural Launch Fund Raiser

PML Conquest for our current project, a Docudrama which allows a ten year old central Florida boy, to tell you his mother’s story which chronicles her battle with PML.

Alex, being left behind as a result of his mother’s untimely death and now being raised by his grandfather, whom he helps educate people all around the world about PML!

We’re asking for your support to help fund this project and get this remarkable story told!

In order to make this a reality, we are calling on you, our supporters and friends, to help us with this effort.

In the unfortunate event that we are unable to raise the funds, it would be very difficult to obtain our goal in our vast attempt to educate people around the world and perhaps save many, many lives, perhaps even your own!

A Celebration of Women™ is honored to Celebrate the Life through this Tribute to a Caring, Compassionate, Courageous, Giving and Strong Woman! This Woman’s dying wish was to share her Story so that as many people possible could be educated on the elusive traits of a disease named PML.

The Courage and Strength that she maintained during her experience with this disease is an Inspiration to One & All.

In the words of her Father:

‘… before Courtney lost her ability to speak, she asked me ‘Why do bad things happen to good people, Daddy?‘.

All I could think of to say to her was, ”so the ones they leave behind can tell everyone how wonderful they were“.’
