Khama Anku, businesswoman, philanthropist, life and success coach, best-selling author, international speaker, and founder of Spiritual Physique, is a “spiritual athlete” in her own right. Her passion for personal development emerged during her own challenging journey (which included abuse, deep depression, very low self-esteem, suicidal thoughts, an eating disorder, bankruptcy, eviction, jail time and even exotic dancing!)

At the age of 23, she had a life-changing premonition of how Spiritual Physique would ultimately look and feel. From that moment on, she has been committed to using the pain from her past to help hurting people. Now, she continues to have an unquenchable thirst to fulfill that vision of serving men and women worldwide. Her passion is teaching the power of consciousness and glorifying the almighty Kingdom of God through coaching products, programs and live events.

Khama earned her B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley and continues to sharpen her skills by learning from world-class experts in the field of human potential and anointed Christian leaders. “My specialty is working with people who are ready to experience major breakthroughs in their lives.”

Spiritual Physique is not about over analyzing, complaining or blaming …it ’s about becoming aware, taking responsibility, reconditioning your mind and moving into action to create continuous supernatural increase in every area of your life.

I did everything from eat beans and rice for months to clean houses for extra cash so I could invest into myself and my business. Because I did that – I’m living my dream. I work from home, full-time – doing what I LOVE. And my life and business are SKYROCKETING!

Khama has coached millionaires to people living in their cars, 20-somethings to 60-somethings, as well as many people from different backgrounds (varying in ethnicity, profession and geographical location). All she requires is willingness and commitment to transform a life from ordinary to extraordinary!

Khama also owns Spiritual Physique Publishing as well as Spiritual Physique Pictures, a film production company and has written, produced and directed 28 “How-to” DVDs to date!

Khama enjoys spending time with her family & “globe-trotting” between North America, Africa and Europe. In the last 3 years, she’s visited all 3 continents THREE TIMES!
 
PHILANTHROPY Comes from the Greek “to love the human being”

Spiritual Physique is about elevating humanity on all levels. Therefore a portion of all profits from Spiritual Physique are donated to Philanthropic Coalitions.

Currently, funds are being directed to a Village in Ghana, West Africa.

My family is from Ghana, and for the past 3 years, I have visited Ghana every year (totaling 7 visits to Africa, 7 trips to Ghana and 1 to South Africa). Another trip is schedule for late 2012. A portion of my income from Spiritual Physique will be used to purchase food, clothing, games, books, school fees and more.

Pictures and videos will be taken to document the experience of 1) the purchasing of the items and 2) the journey of going to the village and giving the items to the children and their families. I am extremely grateful for where I am and honored to be raising the level of the consciousness of the planet – one person at a time. Whether it be through success coaching or giving someone a pair of shoes.

Settling vs. Sacrificing

There is a HUGE Difference between ‘settling and lowering your standards in life’ vs. ‘sacrificing for a temporary moment’, to eventually catapult yourself to a higher level a little bit down the line.

I have been coming across way too many people who think that the two are one in the same. Nothing could be farther from the truth:

Definition of Settling:

1) a gradual sinking to a lower level

2) to sink gradually or to the bottom

Definition of Sacrifice:

1) destruction or surrender of something for the sake of something else

2) to give up in favor of a higher or more imperative object or duty

3) to destroy, surrender, or suffer to be lost, for the sake of obtaining something

As you can see, when you settle – you end up at a lower level than when you started.

But when you sacrifice – you end up with something better!

You may have to give up, destroy or put off something you want NOW – but you are doing so because you are willing to let it go to have something BETTER LATER.

Many people thank me for being so candid about the early days of Spiritual Physique. I feel it is my obligation to let people know, to provide a source of encouragement.

• When you settle – it’s coming from a place of low-self esteem and lack of self-respect.
• When you sacrifice – it’s coming from a place of high self-esteem and self-respect.
• When you settle – it’s coming from a place of fear!
• When you sacrifice – it’s coming from a place of faith!

Don’t allow the world to confuse you with the difference between settling and sacrificing! If you know in your heart, you are making a decision to let something go or put something on hold for the sake of gaining something BETTER in the future – DO IT!

If you need to sacrifice now to provide a better future for yourself and your family – GO FOR IT!

Don’t worry about what other people might say or think – it’s your life, not theirs.

When I decided to take my business to the next level so that I could do it full-time from home, I made the choice to make some sacrifices. And I am so happy I did!

If you are ready to go to the next level, don’t be ashamed to make some sacrifices . You aren’t settling!
