Dr. Nazli “Educating our young women is Key to Survival”

“Dear friends,

Educating our children/young women in the ways of peace and empowering our poor women as equal citizens is our mission. We are facing many challenges like other Pakistani NGO’s are facing right now; like it is difficult to work for Peace and Equality in an environment of deep-seated traditionalism.

Terrorism, Political, instability, Bad economy, Weak Information from Media, Wrong image, International Laws & Policies of Foundations, Ignorance for this region made it more harder. The World complains and demands change in this country & that should be but it could not happen with the behavior of Ignorance; Hope Development Organization was ending.

We are experiencing financial problems since October 2010, and last month we where forced to close our services for a while due to lack of funds. We again have taken a bold step and restore the services in our old HDO office building, problems are still there but we do not want to give up.

“Giving up is not a solution to us;
working more hard with more energy is the only solution”.
