With your help, UNICEF will transform the world for children.  Every Child.  Every Opportunity.  No exceptions.   Whether from home, at work, at school or in your community – we have everything you need to make a difference for kids.  UNICEF Canada works tirelessly to build a world fit for children – but we can only do it with your help. Send a letter to your MP asking them to support a Children’s Commissioner, hold a fundraising event, or become a Global Parent:  It only takes a small amount to make a world of difference for children.
 

 

I don’t like that more than 600,000 Canadian children are living in poverty every day. Like many others, I’m using my voice to make a change by signing UNICEF Canada’s petition for a National Children’s Commissioner. I’m asking you to do the same.

You might think all Canadian children are treated equally. You would be wrong.

• Many live in poverty.

• Many suffer without treatment for developmental, emotional or behavioural problems.

• Many never graduate high school.

• Many are trafficked for sexual activity.

• Many are so neglected and maltreated they’re put into state care.

Don’t like something? Change it.

Demand a Children’s Commissioner for Canada – the first step in addressing the issues facing Canada’s youth.
