68th Venice Film Festival
Sales are now open for Subscriptions to the 68th Venice International Film Festival,
which will be held from August 31st to September 10th 2011.
Festival Pass holders for the past edition are given the right for advance purchase which they may exercise between July 1st and 14th, allowing them to purchase their passes in advance and personally reserve the row and seat they desire, among those still available.
To take advantage of this opportunity, simply connect to the online ticket store at www.boxol.it/biennalecinema, or go directly to the ticket office inside the Palazzo del Cinema during the following opening hours:– Monday through Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
– Saturday July 2nd and Saturday July 9th from 9:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m.The Festival Pass to the Palabiennale will include the double evening screening of the films of the 68th Venice Film Festival and those Out of Competition. As in past years, the Festival Pass may be purchased at a reduced price by visitors over the age of 60, military personnel, members of dopo-lavoro recreational circles, Biennale Card, Coop cards, FAI, Touring Club.
It is necessary to present a document proving the right to the reduced ticket price at the moment of purchase (for the passes purchased at the ticket office of the Palazzo del Cinema), and when picking up the passes.
As of July 15th (4 p.m.) the sale of Festival Passes is open to everyone.The Pass Carnet may be picked up at the ticket office inside the 54th International Art Exhibition presenting a valid document of identification and the receipt for payment, starting August 25, 2011.
The full-price passes give the purchaser the right to buy a ticket at the reduced price for other screenings in the programme not included in the Pass:
– Sala Grande, at 11:00 a.m., 2:30 p.m., 5:00 p.m., 10:00 p.m., midnight
– PalaBiennale, at 2:30 p.m., 5:00 p.m., 8:00 p.m.
– Sala Darsena, at 2:00 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 10:00 p.m.These tickets will be available for sale on the website www.boxol.it/biennalecinema starting August 19th, using the pass code that will be provided at the moment the pass is purchased, or directly at the ticket offices of the Garden, PalaBiennale and Cà Giustinian, where tickets will be available for sale the day before each single screening.
The purchase of reduced-price tickets is subordinate to the availability of seating in the room. In addition, by presenting the Pass at the Biennale ticket offices at the Garden, the Giardini and at the Arsenale, the holder may purchase a ticket for the 54th International Art Exhibition at the reduced price of 16 Euro.
