On Sunday, July 25, at 1 p.m., the Afiara String Quartet will take the stage. This young, all-Canadian ensemble bridges the gap between Haydn and hip-hop. The Afiara String Quartet takes its name from the Spanish word fiar, meaning “to trust,” a basic element vital to the depth and joy of its music-making.
