Some believe intuition to be completely made up, a concept verging on mysticism in some cases. I don’t. I believe intuition is a strong guide that can assist you in day to day decisions. In many cases, intuition is here to kick you in the gut and show you in subtle, and sometimes not so subtle, ways that you are off or on the right track.
But it can be difficult to discern whether your intuition is right or simply playing tricks on you. In this article, I’m going to give your clear signs that your intuition is right and shouldn’t be ignored.
You feel Physical Discomfort
It’s not by coincidence that we use terms like “trust your gut” or “gut instincts”. Our bodies have actual reactions when we deal with stress or discomfort. Learning to listen to your body is essential if you want to use your intuition.
Your body more or less acts as an intuitive communicator and is your link between the physical and spiritual. As a matter of fact, both are always interconnected and physical discomfort is usually caused by your mental state.
If you’re constantly having feelings of discomfort around certain people, places or during your day to day activities, it might be a sign that you’re on the wrong path. Also, if you’re into the esoteric, always check your gut if you’re speaking with live psychics from Telemedium.ca or reading horoscopes, for example. This will usually be able to tell you if the information you’re getting is genuine or should be ignored.
You feel in Danger
This can be tricky, since many of us in the Western world are suffering from a multitude of anxieties. Some of us are just paranoid by nature. But if you feel danger in a particular situation, or have a bad feeling when speaking to a particular person, than it might be your intuition trying to tell you something, especially if you’re usually of a fun loving nature. Also make sure that these bad feelings aren’t fuelled by prejudice or mass hysteria, as it may cloud your judgement.
You’re Over Thinking things or Encountering Resistance
If you find yourself in the course of your work, and suddenly feel like you’re in a slump, or if a task that you usually complete easily become arduous all of the sudden, your intuition might be trying to send a message. Maybe you’re on the wrong path or simply need a break.
When you’re on your path, things are supposed to feel easy, even if the task itself may seem difficult. On the other hand, the most simple of tasks can feel like a chore when you’re off your path.
You Feel Great about a Decision Sounds simple, right? But how many of us have taken decisions we felt were right only to feel an almost immediate sense of dread right after? And most often than not, weren’t these decisions completely disastrous in hindsight?
If you feel a sense of joy, confidence or an expansion of inner happiness or relief, this is a definite sign that you’ve taken the right decision. On the other hand, if you feel absolutely horrible after making a decision, maybe it’s a sign that you should re-evaluate the decision.
Intuition speaks in simple terms, and understanding the way you feel is essential if you want to communicate with it. If you follow the tips in this article, you should be able to identify when your intuition is trying to talk to you and what to do about it.
