heather..a very Special THANK YOU goes out to Heather MacDonald, a long time contributor/supporter of A Celebration of Women™ for providing our LIVE BAND to send all home with a renewed found energy …after a long day!

Heather MacDonald is one woman with heart that goes beyond …. also a cherished member at WEWednesdays!

Heather joined the Kids Now team in the summer of 2003, and provides Program Management and Volunteer Management services for Central Canada to Kids Now. Believing that the best volunteer managers are also volunteers, Heather’s extensive volunteer experience includes working with several HIV/AIDS Service Organizations, the Elizabeth Fry Society, the National Ballet School, and Child Find – Missing and Exploited Children. The determined and community focused individual has been a volunteer mentor for Kids Now a record 25 times!

Peer pressure, bullying, stress, low self-esteem, school, family issues and other influences trouble young teens every day. At this critical transitional age, it’s hard for teens to make good choices. Many lack the coping skills needed to positively deal with these situations and feel they have nowhere to turn for support. Some teens may also come from homes that do not provide a consistent, supportive environment with positive role models.

We love You!

Thank you Heather for bringing to us Jimmy Kincaid and the Smokin’ Guns for a fantastic show!

….more BAND PHOTOS COMING SOON!
