‘NO PAIN – NO GAIN’ ~ WOMEN in RECOVERY

butterfly-cocoon-change-life-advice-personal-strengthNO PAIN ~ NO GAIN

Although there is a negative connotation in this quote, pain may sometimes be the reason why people change.

Pain could be the motivation for success, the motivation to do better and not to falter again.

Remember the days when getting bad grades in school make us realize that we need to study?

Debts remind us of our inability to manage our finances efficiently and the ability to look for a source of income.

Humiliation sometimes gives us the ‘push’ to do something right and fight for ourselves to prevent further embarrassment. The motivation to succeed derived from a bitter experience, a friend’s tragic story, a great movie, or an inspiring book, will help us get up to improve ourselves.

With the negativity the world brings today, how can we keep motivated?

Eleanor Roosevelt once said,

The future belongs to those

who believe in the beauty of their dreams.”

Here are some points to help you in stay motivated in your quest for self improvement:

Hold on to your dreams and never give up. Sometimes dream may dangle or wobble for a moment, but your dream will pull you through. Keep motivated as a motivated person sees obstacle as a temporal hiccups that would soon clear.

Consider things on every angle and aspect. Motivation comes from determination. To be able to understand life, you should feel the sun from both sides. Make things happen. Don’t wait for things to happen, be proactive not reactive. Most importantly, do not procrastinate.

Always be prepared. Good planning and preparation help you uncover any flaws and make immediate remedy

Don’t give up and don’t give in. Thomas Edison failed not once but more than thrice before he came up with his invention of the incandescent light bulb. Motivation is your steering wheel of success.

Enjoy your work. Work as if you don’t need money. Dance as if nobody’s watching. Love as if you never cried. Learn as if you’ll live forever. We are always more motivated when we are happy. Give more than what is enough; give 101% in your effort. Such motivation not only propels you to success, you will also gain respect from people around you that will make you feel good about yourself.

The key to Painless Growth is to be true to you; and the way to Pain is trying to please everyone else, getting stuck in the quagmire of life. Lastly, treasure your family and friends; they are the support, the pillars that could help you get motivated, stay motivated and be motivated.

Woman, be Gentle to yourself, get Honest with yourself, and Take Action for yourself!

Learn to love yourself …

‘To have a dream and achieve your dream, avoid negative people, things and places that will hold you back and keep you from achieving your dreams’.  Eleanor
