Elsa P: August 16, 2012 – Drama, Surprise, Challenge And Soothing‏

Few will be bored on Thursday as Venus squares Uranus and opposes Pluto. Things are poppin’! Further, with the Sun, Moon and Mercury in Leo, there will be no shortage of drama as we head into the New Moon on Friday.

There are any number of ways to fare well here. You can detach (Uranus) and be entertained (Leo) by the machinations (Pluto) of others (Venus). If you have Leo in your chart, you may prefer to be the show rather than see the show. What’s nice is that most combinations will work.

Attention-seeking behavior by some is almost a given under a sky like this. The trick is to consider applauding the star rather than offering up your disdain, provided the person is not destructive.

On that note, there is some risk here. I live in Aurora, Colorado and we just suffered a horrific attack, courtesy James Holmes with his Leo Rising red hair. Most definitely mind your spider senses this week, though I don’t think this sky is as dangerous as what we faced with Mars (violence) involved with Uranus and Pluto. This sky looks more like a flashy (Leo), surprise (Uranus) wedding (Venus) proposal… that my be rejected (Pluto in Capricorn). In whatever case, you get the flavor here: drama and surprise!

As for the weekend, the Moon will be in Virgo so many will be cleaning up or catching up after so much distraction. Take advantage of this time because Monday the Moon in Libra forms a grand cross with Venus, Uranus and Pluto and people are going to be irked.

Matter of fact, irked is not a strong enough word. Think PMS on steroids, but try to hold onto yourself because it just doesn’t make sense to blow up your connections this late in the (Saturn in Libra) game. By now we’ve all learned some level of diplomacy, so use your skills!

Tuesday, the Moon in Libra conjuncts Mars and Saturn in the sign. If you acted maturely on Monday, you’ll probably feel balanced and solid. If not, you’ll probably feel depressed so let this motivate (Mars) you.

We end the week with the Moon in Scorpio in a grand trine with Venus in Cancer and Neptune in Pisces. Hard to complain about that!
