Rev. Nina Roe – Mercury Retrograde Holiday Inspirations

A Celebration of Women celebrates Rev. Nina, as her message reminds us of this famous quote:

“People are like stained-glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in, their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light from within.” ~ Elizabeth Kubler Ross

Darkness abounds… and it is good!

On Friday, December 10th, Mercury went retrograde and will be through the end of this month.

While some hallmarks of this energy are challenges with technology, anything mechanical and confused communication, the gift – really the angels’ intention for us – is to slow down, to be still, to look inward.

When your connection to the internet is down, it’s a sign.

When your attempts to explain your viewpoint to a friend is misunderstood, it’s a sign.

When your car battery dies for the second time this week, it’s a sign.

While these situations can all be annoying, our angels are inviting us to take a time out.

This Tuesday, December 21st is the shortest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere. Winter Solstice. The night is longest and the day is shortest.

On this same day, Tuesday at 3:17am eastern, is a total lunar eclipse.

We have three events that are lining up all around the theme of darkness.

This is not darkness to fear, rather it’s darkness that is beckoning for some solitude, a time out, a bit of introspection.

This isn’t about skipping the eggnog or telling your friends, “Sorry, I have to cancel lunch and meditate.”

This is simply about making it a priority to take time everyday, especially these next 3 days, to be alone with your angels.

Journal your thoughts.

Think about the choices you are making each day.
Be truthful with your self.

Ask your angels to help you with clarity and strength to leverage these powerful energies that are a divine gift from the universe!

Remember…

“That which is Below corresponds to that which is Above,
and that which is Above corresponds to that which is Below
to accomplish the miracles of the One Thing.”
~Hermes Trismegistus

Enjoy this season of light and embrace the darkness with your angels by your side!

Love, Joy and Abundance,
Rev. Nina
